Product description

PTFE tape is used to seal the thread of pipework and fittings on plumbing and gas systems. The tape can be applied to the thread of pipework installations prior to tightening a fitting. The tape provides a buffer and an effective seal that stops water or gas from escaping the system via the threads of a fitting.
