Certikin is the leading supplier of wet leisure and water treatment equipment in the UK. We hold stock of over 8,000 different product lines to equip both domestic and commercial installations, with products as diverse as spas, water park slides, dosing equipment and mono-pools, as well as all the core essentials and spare parts, contributing to the widest range available in our industry.

Peter Geekie launches Peter Geekie Pools.

Peter Geekie Pools is established as a company and begins supplying and installing Vycon liner in-ground pools.

Peter Geekie constructs four in-ground pools at the Cumnor Hill show site, demonstrating the company’s unique capabilities.

During one of the hottest summers on record, the company doubles in size. All building work is contracted to the Oxford Pool Building company, leaving Peter Geekie Pools to manage wholesaling.

Peter Geekie Pools, now incorporating Pool Gear Ltd, become the first company to introduce dehumidifiers as the most economical way of managing pool humidity.

A chemical distributor named Ellis & Everard Pools (now named Univar) purchase Certikin Ltd.

The Rt Hon John Patten MP officially opens the Witney facilities. Neil Murray joins the company.

Hawtin PLC, a Cardiff-based leisure company, purchases Ellis & Everard Pools – Certikin International is born.

Certikin set to move to a purpose built 125,00 sq ft HQ in Witney.

Established in 1963, Certikin currently operates at two locations, with a combined total of four acres of office, warehouse and factory space, including specialist elements for storing pipe and fittings, testing and servicing pool cleaners and CNC machining of HDPE products at our headquarters and main distribution hub in Witney, Oxfordshire. Certikin North, our state-of-the-art computer-controlled manufacturing plant in Leeds, produces tailor-made pool liners and covers. Our Export division serves over 50 different nations, providing the same technical expertise and product offerings as are available to our UK customer base and we have also become a major supplier to the Aquatics industry in recent years through applying our same model of providing key brands and exceptional service.

Certikin was one of the first companies in its field to gain the internationally recognised ISO9001/2015 accreditation which confirms we provide a proven and consistent level of quality in the service we offer and that we are committed to a programme of continuous improvement.
